Greek salad with pita
Insalata greca con pita
Vegetarian dish
Classic Greek salad with tomatoes, cucumber, Kalamata olives, red onion, and feta, served with warm pita bread.
Greek salad (horiatiki) is the quintessential Eastern Mediterranean salad: fresh, flavorful, and nutritious. In Greece, it's served without lettuce—just firm greens that hold up to the dressing. Greek PDO feta (made from sheep's milk) is irreplaceable for its authentic flavor. Kalamata olives are traditional Greek olives: larger, dark purple, and flavorful. Served with warm pita bread, it's a complete vegetarian lunch.
